The Estop family have been welcoming drinkers and diners to this lovely village Inn for 25 years, the current Landlord, Maurice Estop is only the 4th name on the licence in the last 150 years.
A village inn situated 1.5 miles behind the ruins of Corfe Castle, in the picturesque village of Church Knowle in Dorset, The New Inn itself was originally a working farm in the 16th Century, over the years it has seen many changes and many characters pass through it's doors. A stone and partially thatched building, full of olde world charm & character, with lovely inglenook fire places, and a brick alcove that used to be the original farm house kitchen oven. The village inn is situated in a valley surrounded by the Purbeck hills, a walkers paradise with plenty of pub walks.
Our menu is predominantly fresh fish & other fresh local seafood, sourced wherever possible from local waters and local suppliers, locally farmed meat is also used to produce most of our traditional English pub food.
